Description :
 Trois Rivières Cannes Brûlées rum is part of the new "Les Editions du Bar by Trois Rivières" rum range. For this expression, the distillery drew inspiration from an ancient and traditional method: burning the sugarcane. This method was used by cane cutters to remove the leaves and sharp spines before cutting. The canes are then cut after the fire has died down and transported while still smoldering to be crushed. The juice is fermented and distilled in a Creole column still, then reduced to 43% ABV in spring water infused with burnt cane powder, which is then boiled and filtered. This process has been revived to create a unique rum with a rustic and smoky profile.
